Tax Season Is Approaching: How to Prepare

Taking a few steps now can make tax time easier later. USMFCU is here to support your financial well-being every step of the way.

Tax season is just around the corner, and getting organized early can help you save time and avoid stress. Whether you file on your own or work with a tax professional, having your documents ready makes the process much smoother.

USMFCU 2025 Tax Forms Are Now Available

USMFCU 2025 tax forms, including 1098, 1099-INT, and 1042-S, are now available in Online Banking and the Mobile App under Documents → Tax Statements for members enrolled in eStatements.

Please note: you will receive a 1099-INT form only if you earned more than $10 in interest combined under a given member account number.
Members not enrolled in eStatements will receive paper tax forms by mail.

What to Gather Before You File

To prepare for tax filing, make sure you have:

  • Income documents such as W-2s and 1099s

  • Interest and loan statements

  • Records for possible deductions, including education, medical, charitable, or business expenses

Stay Organized with Online Banking

USMFCU Online Banking makes it easy to download statements, review account activity, and track interest earned throughout the year—all in one place.
